Nike Oyeleye - Director
Nike developed Guided Recovery due to the need for greater support for sufferers of Eating Disorders. She wanted to develop a support programme that stepped outside of the consulting rooms and treatment centres and focused on guiding clients throughout their day to day lives whilst managing an Eating Disorder.
She is highly trained in working with individuals with Eating Disorder and has worked in some of the leading Eating Disorder facilities in the UK including the Priory Group, Lifeworks & Gladstones. She has also worked at the world renowned Eating Disorder facility, Montrose Manor, Cape Town, SA.
Her roles have focused on meal support, body image exercises and goal setting for eating disorder clients and exposure therapy whilst being in inpatient treatment.
She holds a BSc in Psychology from University of Westminster and a MSc in Mental Health Studies at Queen Mary, University of London.
Her research has focused on the influence that mothers have on a child's eating behaviours and body dissatisfaction and the effectiveness of exposure treatment in Eating Disorders.
All the work at Guided Recovery is undertaken by our team of highly trained Eating Disorder Coaches who have all worked in some of the UK leading Eating Disorder facilities, all of which are DBS checked.
